ICAstronomy provide professional telescope hosting from our custom-built facility in Spain's Jalon valley. Our two state of the art roll off observatories offer fantastic skies for the finest possible viewing.

The Jalon Valley enjoys a typical mediterranean climate, It can get very hot in the summer and in the winter the area is protected against the cold north winds by the surrounding mountains.

The area averages nearly 3000 hours of sunshine each year and the average temperature exceeds 20 degrees. On average it can boast 325 sunny days each year making it ideal as a base for Astronomy and Astrophotography.

The observatory is also easily accessible, being only 75 minutes drive from Alicante to the South and 90 minutes from Valencia in the north, both of which offer an International airport with many flight options from major operators including British Airways, Ryanair and Easyjet.
